In April 2021, following my work for the Pontesbury Deanery Open the Book teams, I was asked the new Rector Greg Smith if I would help to put together pre-recorded services for the local churches (St George’s Pontesbury and Stiperstones Churches)
I began doing this in April and have compiled weekly services using Final Cut Pro and Apple Motion. The material is sent to me electronically and I then edit and assemble the final service.
This has been a very steep learning curve especially learning to use Motion to amend titles, produce hymns and to generate a split screen for elements of the liturgy.
The videos can be found on the Churches new YouTube channel and this is updated weekly.
We have planned to actually record a live service on the 23rd May and this should be uploaded later the same day so come back and see how we get on.
